The book   Innovative Design Thinking Approaches in Software Engineering   (IGI Global, 2025), which I had the privilege of authoring, editing, and coordinating alongside Dr. Carolina Tripp-Barba, addresses a pressing need in contemporary software development: rethinking engineering methodologies to prioritize empathy, creativity, and human value. Through a collection of eight original chapters written by an international and interdisciplinary group of researchers, the volume presents a multi-faceted view of how Design Thinking can reshape software engineering processes in both theory and practice. The book   Generative AI in Software Engineering , edited by yours truly (José Alfonso Aguilar-Calderón), has finally been published. Por fin se publicó el libro   Generative AI in Software Engineering , editado por José Alfonso Aguilar-Calderón (quien esto escribe claro). Y no, no es otro libro más con promesas vacías sobre "el futuro de la inteligencia artificial", sino una obra seria, completa y útil sobre cómo   la IA generativa está transformando cada rincón de la ingeniería de software . Este libro que coordiné, como editor, nació a raíz de una pregunta recurrente en la literatura científica, entre mis alumnos y amigos profesionistas que se propagó desde el inicio del boom de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) y la Inteligencia Artificial Generativa (IAGen):  ¿Puede la IA generativa cambiar la forma en que programamos?
